Our first thought was to create a performance space that does not look similar to a stadium or a large grandstand. We chose to design a tropical theater as part of the landscape in reference to the magnificent tropical garden in which it is located.

We developed a complete vocabulary of architectural elements in reference to this floral environment, with the main element being a tensile membrane roof that resembles giant tropical flowers, intricate with real palm trees and other tropical essences growing on the facades.

The final outcome is stunning architecture that can evoke emotion and provide a magical experience for the audience from the moment they arrive until the show begins. The venue also turns into a new experience by night, with a spectacular dynamic lighting installation.
