Strategic Programming & Site Feasibility
Collaborating with the architectural team during early-stage design, we evaluated site access, spatial capacities, and severe footprint constraints. When preliminary briefs requested support for massive international touring opera productions, our spatial analysis proved this unfeasible within the available volume. We guided the client toward a versatile, high-fidelity venue optimized for national state orchestras, traditional cultural performances, and modern amplified music.
Audience Geometry & Sightline Engineering
Two-Tier Layout: Engineered a compact two-level auditorium structure to maximize seating capacity within strict footprint limits.
Calculated Sightlines: Developed custom seating sightlines and layout geometry in compliance with international safety and viewing standards, ensuring optimal audience connection throughout the hall.
Inside-Out Venue Design
Establishing core performance requirements before finalizing the building envelope prevented costly structural modifications downstream. By prioritizing acoustic physics, visual lines, and technical production needs first, SLA successfully established the spatial framework before handing off the project for final engineering and contractor execution.
