Tasked with creating a signature landmark on the coast, our studio delivered a comprehensive design solution that bridges the gap between high-performance engineering and luxury entertainment. The complex is a sophisticated hybrid, housing a series of grand ballrooms alongside integrated bar and restaurant concepts.

Coastal Resilience & Parametric Form

To combat the challenges of a high-salinity, tropical environment, we looked beyond traditional building materials.

  • Marine-Grade Innovation: The facade is composed of innovative fiberglass panels, a material selection inspired by high-end yacht construction. This ensures unparalleled durability against seaside corrosion.

  • Parametric Patterning: The building envelope features a complex parametric pattern, designed and engineered in-house to create a sense of fluid movement and architectural rhythm.

  • Integrated Infrastructure: By coordinating the facade and landscape engineering from the concept phase, we successfully integrated all technical requirements—including lighting masts and structural supports—into the aesthetic fabric of the project.

The Illumination Strategy

The lighting design is not merely an addition but a structural component of the architecture. The scheme is managed via a centralized DMX control system, allowing the operator to transform the building’s atmosphere instantaneously.

Core Lighting Components:

  • Golden Module Integration: Warm white linear LED luminaires are recessed within the facade to highlight the depth and texture of the parametric modules.

  • Architectural Floodlighting: Custom-designed masts surround the site, housing RGBW flood spotlights that provide high-output color washes for grand events.

  • Dynamic Scenarios: The DMX integration allows for bespoke "lighting scenes," tailoring the visual presence of the center to match the tone of any convention, gala, or concert.
